At their research and development centre in Viken, Sweden, they constantly do tests to try the 5G® Fold Down click system out with various types of floors and to adapt it to them. The starting point? A perfect fit, regardless of the material and design.

Laetitia Kimblad explains: ‘A perfect fit means there are no gaps between the planks, no unevenness or differences in height, and the floor can cope with movements caused by damp, differences in temperature, and intensive daily use.’ The 5G® Fold Down system helps greatly with those ambitions. ‘Apart from the 5G range, we’ll also be presenting various brand new forms of technology to the outside world for the first time during Domotex 2024 in Hanover,’ says Laetitia, looking ahead to future additions to the Välinge Innovation range. Technology company and advisory partner
It’s not always easy for producers or flooring professionals to maintain a good overview in the field of click systems. Lots of players churn out new click systems, new forms of technology, and new licences.

‘The market is in full swing worldwide. The demand for easy-to-install floors continues to grow and both fitters and end users are increasingly aware of the benefits of a qualitative click system.
