For the first time, Pallmann called a worldwide wood floor championship in June 2020. At the Pall-X 96 Wood Floor World Cup, 18 different countries were involved and in the end, a total of 84 wood floor projects with the successful Pall-X 96 lacquer were submitted. Now the successful international competition is going into a second round. The starting signal was given on 14 September. In the second edition of the competition, the wood floor specialist from Würzburg is focusing on the wood floor oils of the Magic Oil series.

"The first Magic Oil product was introduced 18 years ago. Over the years, we have revolutinised and constantly improved the surface finishing of wood floors with the Magic Oil range. With the introduction of Magic Oil Change, which consists of regional hemp oil and natural waxes, we have now been able to achieve yet another milestone on the subject of sustainability," says Stefan Neuberger, Managing Director of Pallmann GmbH. "With the Wood Floor World Cup, however, we not only want to honour our Magic Oil product range, but above all the wood floor laying trade with their craftsmanship," Neuberger explains.

The Magic Oil Wood Floor World Cup calls on the best wood floor layers worldwide to compete with their craftsmanship and show it to the whole world. Entries are open to craftsmen with wood floor projects that are not older than 24 months or projects that are still in progress and will be completed within the next few months. The only requirement is that at least one Magic Oil product has been used. By submitting a Magic project, you automatically become part of your country's national team. The deadline for projects is 30 April 2024. The submitted projects are evaluated by an international jury of experts on the basis of clearly defined criteria, such as craftsmanship, spatial geometry or sustainability, to determine the winning country. The entire national team of the winning country is then invited to a joint team event in the country. Participants in this special competition have the opportunity to compete with wood floor layers from all over the world.In addition, the participating companies benefit from the opportunity to exchange ideas with their colleagues as a team, to network, and to work together as a team.
