A new all-round profile
With its PPS Champion profile system, the industry leader has already shown how it is possible to solve a whole range of installation situations with a single profile. The new 985, 986, 987, 988 profiles also have the potential to become all-rounders. They can be used as edge trim and expansion joint profiles as well as skirting profiles. This makes them a reliable alternative to a whole range of profiles for many everyday tasks performed by floor layers. Another plus: the legs on both sides are 50 mm. With these wider contact surfaces, they are not only ideal for gluing, but also for special floor applications, for example in heavy-duty areas and with asymmetrical joints. For floors with underfloor heating, the new expansion joint profiles 985 S, 986 S, 987 S and 988 S can be installed in accordance with DIN EN 1264-4 | 2021-08.
Midnight Edition
Five years ago, when Küberit started to introduce a few black profiles, this was a novelty. Now the Lüdenscheid-based company is adding the F16 powder-coated 2-part wall clip profile system with an application range of 3 - 5 mm to its now extensive Midnight Edition. In addition to profiles with these surfaces (RAL 9005, black powder-coated), the F17 range also includes black anodised profiles, for example the highly sought-after 2- and 3-part profile systems including colour-matching TORX screws. In addition, transition, end, angle and stair nosing profiles as well as stair runner rails are also available in this elegant look.
Angle and stair profiles
Profiles and systems with the same covering are particularly popular with builders, as they blend in very harmoniously with the floor and stair design. However, steps are exposed to high point loads and require a special degree of safety. Thanks to its low cross-sectional height of 2.6 mm, the new Profile 525 can be levelled even with coverings of 2.5 mm and offers reliable slip resistance thanks to its countersunk drill holes and the discreet but effective grooves on the tread edge.
